Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, our tour of Venice will highlight the most famous monuments in the center of this gorgeous city. It will begin in St Marks Square where you will learn the history behind the first offices of Venice. Our guide will take you through the center of Venice offering stories of the past and pointing out the magnificent frescoes and sculptures throughout the city. You will see Doge's palace which housed the elected Doge (the leader of the city). See the famous Bridge if Sighs. And go inside St Marks Basilica where you will see remarkable architecture and the majestic golden mosaics. Our tour ends after passing by the Rialto Bridge where the Grand Canal truly comes to life! (Please note that we will not enter inside Doge's Palace on this tour.)
