A visit to the Greek Roman Theatre, the second largest classical theatre in all of Sicily, is breathtaking. Built in Greek times, and later enlarged and almost entirely rebuilt by the Romans in the second century AD, your tour guide will share with you its powerful history.
You will have the opportunity to walk on Corso Umberto I, the most significant tract of the ancient via Valeria, the consular road that linked Messina to Catania.
We will visit the archeological museum, Antiquarium, The Church of St. Catherine, and the smaller Roman theatre the Odeum.
